FHU Golf Conference Tournaments

The Lions golf team has had a great 2017-18 season!  They have notched five tournament wins thus far, and have earned a top-25 national ranking for the first time in program history (currently ranked #22).  The regular season culminates April 23-24 with a trip to Melbourne, AR.  Conference tournament begins May 30 in Camdenton, MO.

The Lady Lions have had similar success this year.  They have three tournament wins, and recently placed second in the AAC Spring Tournament in Loudon, TN.  This event featured several top-30 teams, with the Lady Lions only trailing #11 UNOH by eleven strokes at the end of the day.  They also will end their season in Melbourne, AR on April 23.24.  Conference tournament begins May 7 in Eugene, MO.

Many of you have been very generous throughout this season, and we are very appreciative of all that you have done.  Without your support, we couldn’t have achieved the results we have accomplished this year.  Once again we need your help.  Both teams have worked very hard, with their drive and desire geared towards a conference championship.  Your contribution will help these athletes possibly achieve their year-long dream.

Due to budget constraints, the Lions and Lady Lions golfers need your assistance to help defray the costs associated with traveling to the conference tournaments in Eugene, MO for the Lady Lions, and Camdenton, MO for the Lions, both of which are almost 7 hours away from Henderson, TN. 

The costs associated with attending this tournament for both the Lions and Lady Lions is $5,000. All funds raised with help with tournament fees, lodging, food, and travel expenses.  I assure you that no dollar will be wasted or taken for granted.  Any assistance you can provide will be appreciated.
