Support for the Slater Springman Family

Slater Springman, a student at Freed Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee was practicing with the Baseball team, running laps and collapsed on Monday evening August 24th. He was taken into the field house and iced down but he was not getting better.

911 was called and he was life-flighted to Jackson Medical Center in Jackson TN where they tried to get his core body temperature down from 105 degrees. He had severe heat stroke. Because he was experiencing many seizures, the doctors decided to place him in a medically induced coma at some point that evening.

Since that time, Slater's condition has been slowly improving, but he still has a long road ahead for recovery. Slater's parents are currently staying in Jackson, TN at a home provided by one of the local congregations.

This page is to raise funds for the Springman family to help cover the various costs associated with this difficult time. All donations made though this page will go directly to the Springman family.
