The GMV Project: The Freed-Hardeman’s Missions in Management Project
The Freed-Hardeman Missions in Management professional organization exists to provide students of the FHU College of Business opportunities to unite their knowledge of Management and their passion of mission work.
A current Missions in Management project is The GMV Project. This project was conceived by senior Management major Brandon Gosselin after a mission trip to Haiti in the summer of 2016.
The goal of The GMV Project is to facilitate an environment in Haiti that will push the country to reach “The Tipping Point,” allowing the country to transform itself from a 3rd world country to a self-sustaining economy.
Overseeing and mentoring this project is FHU Chancellor Milton Sewell, FHU Vice President for University Advancement Dave Clouse, and FHU Associate Professor of Marketing Lee Hibbett.
To ensure this project is successful–at his own expense–Brandon has already spent over $2,500 to meet with 50+ influential individuals including: doctors, mayors, and administrators from our nation's top business schools. However, more research is needed.
In the coming months, research trips are need to:
The total travel expenses for the trips listed above are over $4,000; however, Brandon's goal is to raise $2,000. Your gifts will provide the funds needed to cover the travel expenses for this project.
