WFHU Radio Station Equipment

WFHU 91.5 The Lion is Freed-Hardeman University's campus radio station. It is a student run station that serves as a training ground for students interested in the field of broadcast communication. 91.5 The Lion provides "real world" experience for training students in the following: air-talent, studio production, sports play-by-play, management, and promotions & marketing. Working at the station provides a great opportunity for learning, growing, and making friendships that will last a lifetime.

91.5 The Lion serves the Freed-Hardeman campus, as well as, the surrounding community by providing an unique alternative for listeners. We provide the Henderson community with local high school football and FHU basketball and baseball play-by-play coverage, live-remote broadcasts from community events, and local news.

With that being said, we can't do that without your help. We're in need of updating some of our equipment and getting new equipment, when necessary, so that we can continue to bring you music, news, and sports coverage.
