Yesterday you received a video from head coach Jonathan Estes detailing the incredible difference the Hitrax system you helped provide for the Lions baseball program made for them last year. Thank you for the investment you made in the student athletes! 

In yesterday's video, Coach Estes mentioned a new project the Lions Baseball program is working on this fall.  The goal is to replace the current chairbacked seats, (pictured above,) and add additional chairbacked seating to the 1st and 3rd base sidelines. This upgrade will increase the number of chairbacked seats available to those who enjoy supporting the Lions Baseball team during home games. 

Additionally, this year FHU will submit a bid to be a National Tournament Opening Round host site for 2019 and beyond. One significant factor when considering which sites will be allowed to host the National Tournament Opening Round games is the quality of the facilities available. Upgrading these facilities will strengthen the appeal of FHU's bid.

Last year you helped support our project to bring the Hitrax system to Freed-Hardeman's baseball program. You helped us become 1 of 2 schools in the state of Tennessee who were using this technology. The results we received last year were tremendous, capped off by winning 47 games and being the runner-up in the World Series.

Thank you for making the HitTrax system a reality for the members of the FHU Baseball team!

Because of you, FHU is one of only 40 universities with access to this software across the country. The only other university in Tennessee using this system is Vanderbilt University. You are helping create a premier opportunity for student athletes at FHU. 

Since it was installed earlier this week, the HitTrax system has already seen heavy use from members of the baseball team. According to FHU Baseball coach Jonathan Estes, "producing this level of analysis and analytics for each player was simply not possible before. Thank you to each and every donor for helping FHU's baseball program continue to grow and improve."

Thank you for participating in the Hit Trax project. Only $95 remains, and the system will be installed and ready to use next week. We will share picture and videos of this new system in action once it is up and running. Thank you for supporting our student athletes in this way!

Thank you for your generosity and the love you have shown for the student athletes on FHU's Lions Baseball team! Because of your generous giving, the Hit Trax project has reached 92% completion, lacking only $1,595 to be fully funded! Your gifts have been an encouragement to the students and they are excited about being able to use the Hit Trax technology later next month.
