The Ronnie Sain Memorial Scholarship

This project is to honor the life and memory of Ronnie Sain.  Ronnie's 40th birthday will be October 3, 2016. He passed 11 years ago on Sept. 27, 2005, after graduating from FHU in December, 2001.

Ronnie was the son of Richard and Susan Sain.  He was the oldest brother to Trenton Sain (Wendy), Amanda Horn (Josh), Thomas Sain (Janet) and Lauren Malecha (Ryan). He was a fun and faithful friend, but most importantly, he was a child of God. At his passing, he'd just become an uncle.

Ronnie was a gift. He became our foster child at age 8 months old to be adopted exactly three years later. He has 5 nephews and a niece, a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law who will never meet him on this earth, but they will certainly know about him. They will know that he loved everyone. They will learn that he taught a Bible lesson one week before he passed away. He loved working in Bible camps in Florida. He died with a church bulletin in his pocket. Ronnie had a big heart. We have gifts received from him when his resources were limited, but he remembered others. He was mischievous and loved to joke. He loved to cook and to eat. He loved sports. He was thankful to be in a Christian family.

The Ronnie Sain Memorial Scholarhip has been created at Freed-Hardeman to honor Ronnie's life. Ronnie loved Christian education and would be thankful that others could receive a help of a scholarship. Please keep his memory alive by being gentle as he was, loving and serving God, staying healthy and having a positive attitude. Give a great big bear-hug to those you love.

Thank you for helping in this project, so others may continue to receive his gift of love.
